President Monson has said that "Lecturing is the least effective form of teaching". We are not to lecture when we teach but to bring principles "unto the heart" for our students and get them to use their agency to get the principle in their heart. They use their agency by participating in class and by us extending invitations to apply true doctrine in their life that week.
